LEGAL / DRAFT
Privacy.
How information supports your training, and the choices you have.
Who we are
AN1 is operated by [company name], [company number], at [company address]. The data controller is [data controller and contact details]. Data protection contact / DPO: [DPO name and contact, or confirm whether a DPO is required]. This draft is intended for [jurisdictions]; [governing law — confirm with lawyer].
What we collect
Account data includes your name, email, sign-in details and account role. Profile information includes date of birth, sex, training preferences, availability and goals. We store training plans, workouts, completion records and related performance information.
If you connect TrainingPeaks or import device files where available, we receive the training and device information you choose to provide; this can include heart rate, power and other workout or recovery metrics. Feedback reports include what you write and any diagnostic information or attachments you choose to send. Avoid including unnecessary sensitive information.
Why we use it
We use this information to provide your account, plan and track training, show progress, support the coach–athlete relationship, respond to feedback and maintain the service. Age information supports junior training limits. Some training information may reveal health information.
[Confirm lawful bases for each purpose, any special-category data condition, consent wording and withdrawal process, and the AI processing/provider details before launch.]
Where data is stored
AN1 uses Google Firebase for account and application data. Storage and processing regions: [EU/US locations to confirm]. [Confirm international transfers, safeguards, service providers and any additional processing locations, including AI services.]
Who can see it
The coach assigned to an athlete can access information needed for their coaching relationship. Authorised service operators and providers process information to run and support AN1. Stripe handles payments for paid plans; payment information needed for billing is shared with Stripe when you choose a paid plan. We do not sell personal data.
[Confirm the complete provider list, access controls, legal disclosures and any club or parent access arrangements. Parent status alone must not be taken as a promise of automatic account access.]
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described and applicable obligations. [Set retention periods for accounts, training history, feedback, payment records, logs and backups; confirm deletion timing after account closure and any legal exceptions.]
Your choices and rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion or an export of your information through our contact page. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent and complain to a regulator. [Confirm request process, identity checks, response deadlines and relevant supervisory authority.]
Under-18s and the coach relationship
Junior training needs an appropriate relationship between the athlete, parent or guardian and coach. Parental or guardian consent must be obtained where required before a junior uses the service or their information is processed. A coach must explain how the junior’s information will be used and who can see it. Age-aware training limits do not replace supervision.
[Confirm minimum age, consent ages by jurisdiction, how guardian consent and authority are verified, withdrawal, and how junior rights and coaching access are handled.]
Cookies and local storage
Sign-in and preferences use cookies or local storage so the service can recognise your session and remember choices. This draft covers sign-in and preferences only. [Confirm the actual storage inventory, providers, duration and whether a consent mechanism is required before launch.]
